I’ve created a practical tool to simplify bar reservation management: a Gantt chart generator. This project was inspired by my own experience working at a busy bar, where juggling reservations was a constant challenge.
The generator takes CSV files containing reservation data and transforms them into visually intuitive Gantt charts. This provides bar staff with a clear, real-time overview of upcoming bookings, potential overlaps, and table availability, streamlining the reservation process.
By making the code open source on GitHub, I hope to enable others in the hospitality industry to benefit from and adapt this tool.
This project highlights the power of coding to address real-world issues. By enhancing reservation management, it improves efficiency and ultimately leads to a better customer experience.
